Iola is a small community in northern Grimes County. Located on Hi-way 39 & Hi-way 244.
Our Facility is just across the street from the local School on the north side, with hi-way 39 one block to the left and hi-way 244 two block to the right,
at Ft. Worth Street and Brazos Ave.
We are about 35 miles east of College Station / Bryan, Texas and about 50 miles west of Huntsville, Texas.
Houston, Texas is about 95 miles to the southeast with many small ranches in between.
When you leave College Station head east on hi-way 30 until you get to the cut off to hi-way 244 at Carlos. Turn left there and your on your way to Iola.
If you are coming in from Huntsville, travel west on hi-way 30 till you get to junction of hi-way 90 at Roans Prairie and turn right there for 4 miles and take hi-way 39 to the left.
If you are traveling on hi-way 21 between Bryan and Madisonville, make your turn at North Zulch,Texas to hi-way 39 turn south 10 miles to Iola.
Iola has a population of about 480 people within it's new city charter.
